Being a stay-at-home mom has been kind of a hard transition for me to make. I just get so bored sitting at home. I think it's mostly because it's winter and we can't get out much. Today, both Kate and I were going stir crazy and so we went outside! It was really freezing and Kate fell in the snow...so we didn't stay out for long--but she loved it! I can't wait for warmer weather!!

I love the angle of that second picture! Cute! You can always come back to work if you're getting too bored at home. I happen to know a job that could use you! Well I guess I'd only be there a few weeks to enjoy it with you. On second thought, just wait until I'm a stay-at-home mom (approximately a month from tomorrow) and then we can play.

As Kate get older and you porduce another little one, you won't be bored, they won't let you be...so enjoy having a quiet little girl and some time to yourself.

I think it's a tough transition for any mom to suddenly be home all day with a little baby. It's hard, there are days when I think to myself, "If I color one more picture, or build a block tower one more time I'm going to go postal!!" Sometimes it gets better as the day goes on, and sometimes it doesn't and you just have to live with it. I guess it's part of living in a fast paced world when you're cruise control is only set on 25.
