We had planned on camping overnight at Payson Lakes this past Friday with my sister's family, but we all decided to reschedule for later in the summer when it was a bit warmer there. Andrew and I were still in the mood to check the place out, though, since we've never been there. We went up last night and just walked around a little. What a gorgeous place! I can't wait to camp there and go canoeing--how fun! Andrew's going to go back this week to get some large format shots--he's really excited about the potential of the place. It was a nice break for us even if it was just for a couple of hours.

I love Payson Lakes!! We would go up all the time when we lived there! Just beware the campground get noisy at night. We went and had a group singing (trying to harmonize) until about 1 AM.
this looks like a beautiful place...you'll have to tell me where it is when i get back. and neal and i just watched the video of kate reading the book...soooo funny. neal said afterward, "she's a cute kid." he NEVER says things like this = he really thinks kate is cute. :)
